Training
The training provided is structured to optimize the users’s expertise and knowledge and help transfer these skills and needs onto a personalized screen, while also educating the user of their roles and responsibilities surrounding the customization and maintenance of the system moving forward. General user training is provided for the end-users and the focus of this training is on the components of the system that will be relevant to them in their day-to-day use of the system. Based on the "TradeCapture OTC Best Practices Manual" the users will receive training in those applications for which they will be responsible in the normal course of their work. All users will receive an overview session in order to highlight the requirement for all to participate fully in the use of the system.
Software Version Control
Diversity and simplicity. While these two words have significantly different definitions, they are good characterizations of TradeCapture's customer base and our strategy regarding software maintenance. Due to the fact that we have a diverse base of customers in terms of geography, functional expertise and product focus,TradeCapture OTC has developed a functionally rich application to meet the numerous business requirements of our extensive customer base. Along the way, TradeCapture OTC has elected to roll all of our system upgrades into the pending next release so that all of our existing and future customers can utilize the incremental functionality upon request. Therefore, while we have numerous versions in active production, we do not maintain multiple, diverse software applications. In short, unlike the practices other venders may have, we don't offer three versions - good, better and best - version of our software; we offer only one version, the "best" version. This strategy has led to a very efficient way of maintaining and upgrading our software which helps reduce the expense of maintenance while at the same time avoids over-extended engagements at the client site.
Custom Software Solutions
TradeCapture OTC is very experienced in developing custom-built applications to meet the requirements of our complex multi-location, multi-commodity deployments with significant historical legacy data and systems integration requirements. TradeCapture OTC is extremely adept at performing these custom development services, which add functionality specific to client or group of clients and/or which interface with our client's other systems, such as its Risk Management Systems or Accounting Systems (AP/AR and General Ledger). While the vast majority of our customers utilize our base code with limited customization, (and, accordingly, our business model is not driven by lengthy service engagements) TradeCapture is extremely well-versed and experienced in providing sophisticated, complex custom software solutions whenever they are required by our customers.
